Seiko 6105-8119 Vintage 1972 w/ papers complete restoration

Description: I purchased the watch that has now come to be known as "The Willard" at a Pawn Shop in Jamaica Queens NY where I grew up. I was 16 years old in 1972 and it has been in my possession ever since. I believe in light of the Vietnam War and soldiers coming home needing quick pawnshop dollars that I am the second owner with 50 years of possession. It was my first timepiece purchase and represented my step into manhood. After a few years I trended digital with the Pulsar Time Computer and put my Willard in a drawer and pretty much forgot about it. In 1979 when "Apocalypse Now" came out featuring Captain Willard (Martin Sheen) and two young fellas who I now call friend Laurence Fishburn and Corey Glover I pulled my Seiko 6105 out for the bragging rights and the nostalgic coolness. Recently I decided to thin out the herd. I packed up my 6105 and sent to Total Watch Repair in Encino, CA for a complete rebuild. I now offer this completely dismantled, inspected, lubricated with new gaskets, timing calibration, polishing and buffing of the case, new Seiko black dive band replacement and a 1 yr warranty to you The 150 diver is built to withstand anything and was the watch of choice for many soldiers who saw action in Vietnam. I has been my pleasure to own this 6105 - 8119 vintage time piece and keep it well for more than 50 years
