The opening for the candle is approximately .875” and holds a 6” taper beautifully. The bottom is marked ©1990 Seagull Pewter Canada Etain Zinn. Etain Zinn designates that it is “newer” pewter, made after WWII.The candlestick holders are lovely and delicate, wonderfully modeled with so much detail. The base is shaped like a 5-pointed leaf with flower buds going up the side of the candle holder. A hummingbird seems to float and drink nectar from a flower bud.
