Scholer has been in business since 1949 and is the leading supplier of crystals to the lighting industry world-wide, even outselling Swarovski. Besides components, they also offer decorative items and glassware. This beautiful Santa riding in his Sleigh ornament has their AB finish which, under normal lighting, looks silvery pale Green with flashes of Fuchsia. When back-lit, the colors change to bright Blue with Fuchsia and Golden Yellow edges. My camera flash also shows the brilliant colors. Beautiful! The ornament measures 2-1/2" by 2-1/2" and its stock number on the Scholer Website is D-1254. It has some slight factory mould roughness on the ground and polished back edge, but no chips or cracks. The front and sides are extremely smooth. These ornaments don’t come up very often and Scholer also has a Snowman, Reindeer, Teddy Bear, Rocking Horse and Angel.
