Description: The Mind Benders by James Gibb Stuart (1920-2013), financial author known for his outspoken opposition to the European Union, and for publishing a book on monetary reform, The Money Bomb. First edition hardcover book with the original dust jacket, SIGNED and INSCRIBED in blue ink by the author on the blank page opposite the title page- inscription dated January 1979. Published by Embryo Books (William Maclellan, Glasgow). This book measures approximately 8 1/4" by 5 1/2" by 1" thick, with illustrated end papers and monochrome illustrations throughout. I consider this book to be in overall good to very good condition based on Ebay's condition rating guidelines. There is minor dulling and corner/edge wear to the dust jacket, small smudges of what appears to be white paint along the bottom edges of the burgundy cover boards, and mild age-tanning to the dust jacket. The pages appear clean and crisp (with the exception of the front blank page which has been inscribed and signed by the author), and the binding appears tight and square. Please take a moment to review the photographs provided for additional representation of condition and book characteristics. Thank you for looking!
