A metal medal issued by the Municipality of Tel-Aviv, for said International Jewish sport events. The year 1935 appeared in Hebrew letters. On obverse is seen symbol Municipality of Tel -Aviv. It is diameter 24 mm. & weight 7.3 gr. Condition: good very- fine or better, beside nick on 11:00 o'clock. Kindly see scans. Second medal is award bronze diameter 30 mm. weight 11.09 gr. On obverse appeared in Hebrew the words: The Second Maccabiah, the year in Hebrew & Eretz Israel (means country of Israel). Condition: the medal is in very fine- extremely fine. Kindly see scans On rev. appears date of this Second Maccabiah in Hebrew letters. Historical Background- The Second Maccabiah took place in Tel -Aviv. then Palestine on 2-10 APRIL 1935 i.e. three years after the First Maccabiah was taken place there. In the Second Maccabiah, participated 1350 Sportsmen and Sportswomen from 28 countries.
