Description: I cannot verify just how rare this hand pencil signed and titled Lithograph by famed artist John Gable is, but I can verify it is one of the most powerful pieces of his that I have ever seen. If and when I find out other information I will edit the listing. My estimation is the sooner it is purchashed before I find out more the better for the buyer. Published through The Arundel Point Publishing house of Kennebunkport, Maine, with an unknown date of creation outside of the 1982 original creation date of the painting, the lithograph itself does not carry a proclaimed title. Only the word CREW within the art work provides any information. HOWEVER, John Gable pencil named the lithograph with the title "POWER" as well as his pencil signature in the margin below his plate signature. This sheet of fine quality paper measures 32" x 22.5". I anticipate its' creation to be from the 1980s and will update if I find out more through the publishing house. Of course, rowing is a favorite subject of Gable so his full artistic commitment to this piece comes as no surprise.
