Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Vintage Glass. This is an antique blown in mold glass fish bowl or Apothecary bowl. Has 2 slight mold lines (pic #5 shows one side seam). Polished pontil on bottom(pic #6 shows pontil). The glass is wavy and has some bubbles(pic #7 shows one of the bubbles). Dates to the first half of the 1900s. 1920-1940. Almost antique. Around 75-100 years old. Good condition for age. Bubbles in glass in the making. There is a very small annealing line near rim as pictured that was also in the making(pic #9). There is a small "c" shaped surface line near pontil that is on outer surface only and also was an in the making flaw (last pic). There is a small interior lip and this may have had a lid, although most times this type of upper lid was to tie a cloth on top instead of a lid so whatever was inside could breath. There are a few tiny flakes on inner rim. Heavy wear on foot (pic #8 shows wear on foot). Displays beautifully. Antique and around 100 years old. Large and heavy measuring around 9" tall and about 10" in diameter at extremes. The price is for the glass bowl as pictured. Look at pictures as they are considered part of the description.
