Savinelli Bruna 123 Pot Vintage Pipe 1980’s 6mm fi, Excellent Shape. Cumberland

Description: Description & Info: I love collecting older (and newer Savinelli pipes) and they’re what I smoke most along with another brand. I started by seeking out this Bruna line which is fairly rare and one of the only Savinelli pipes you’ll find with a Cumberland stem. (aka Brindle). It sports a natural tan stain and a nice brass band to accentuate the colors and theme. I’m only able to find 1-2 per year in condition good enough that I’d want it or offer it up. I’ve had this piece for 5 years now in my collection. I really love the shape 123. A pot shape bowl with rounded triangular shank just looks beautiful and it’s unlike most other shapes out there. I can spot it in an instant! This particular 1980’s Bruna is in excellent if not near mint condition. It shows some very nice flame grain all around the bowl and tight swirly birds-eye all along the sweeping bottom of the pipe, the rim and back of the bowl! The pipe also will sit nicely without need of a rest or holder. The star for me is the red, black and brown Cumberland stem which just looks beautiful and the narrow brass brand really adds to it without being flashy. The only blemish being the ink or paint stamping on stem is a bit wearing off as happens on most brands that do this but mostly there still. Some fading to the stamping but mostly all there. No fills and no damage or dings from dropping etc. No charring or rim darkening. It’s been very, very well cared for. The pipe accepts a 6mm filter if you use them. (I love the Savinelli Balsa filters and will cut them down a little for more air flow. If you don’t use filters and would like an insert conversion, I’m happy to include one for free. Please put that request in the purchase order notes. The pipe has been well cleaned inside and out. It has been buffed with Carnuaba wax and hand polished and is ready to smoke out of the box like all my pipes. You get what you pay for. My pipes are all carefully inspected and attended to. I will put hours into a $30 pipe or a $500 pipe with the same attention and care. Even new, old stock pipes have factory mistakes, oxidized stems or need new wax. In most cases, I have a poly bag on top to make it rain resistant and a bit more secure. The exception is if the package is larger than standard. I don’t profit off of the shipping fee.
