Description: Up for bid is this French Santon figure of a Market Woman holding a bag and a bunch of flowers. The original flowers had gone missing so we added a set of silk flowers that we had on hand. The thumb on her right hand is chipped but not noticeable since the flowers have been replaced. The base is signed by the maker Claude Carbonel and made in Provence. The bonnet is trimmed in lace- some minor age spotting on the top of the bonnet; the hands, head and base are terracotta with no chips.
