The pictured beautiful frame is included free of charge in the purchase price of this painting. Sales tax will be charged as applicable. About the Artist: Sandu Liberman was born in Romania in 1923. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest and between 1946 and 1953, he exhibited his artwork at eleven state shows in Bucharest. In 1952, Liberman won the Gold Medal at the International Art Festival in Romania and shortly thereafter, Liberman was appointed to illustrate the Encyclopedia of Romania and was designated as the Official Portrait Artist of Romania. In 1962, Liberman immigrated to Israel, where he continued to paint. On numerous occasions, the Government of Israel commissioned him to paint portraits. His portrait paintings include portraits of former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir and Nelson Rockefeller, former Vice President of the United States. Liberman passed away in 1977.
