Description: RARE!! FANTASTIC set of NICARAGUAN POTTERY consisting of six cups and saucers together with a sugar and creamer by SAN JUAN de Oriente Olia featuring sea turtles. NOTES1. The saucers do not have ridges to hold the cups.2. I am assuming that the high "cup" without handles is the sugar bowl. (no lid)3. The cups and marked "San Juan de Oriente"--but very hard to read. I do not think that the artist has signed them.4. The saucers are unmarked.5. The creamer is marked--but it is hard to read. The artist may have signed it. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: cups: 3 1/8" in diameter (not including handle) and 2 1/4" high.saucers: 5" in diameter. creamer: 3" in diameter (not including spout and handle)sugar: 3 1/8" in diameter and 3 7/8".
