Description: "San Clemente June Gloom" Coastline Watercolor By RAMfish Artist This watercolor painting was done on location, en plein air, on the beach on a gray day in San Clemente California, I have painted this home before, you can search my store or by name to find. This day was particularly gloomy, although I loved it, as now that I live in the La Quinta/ Palm Springs area I look forward to the overcast and cool summer weather. Along the coast there is usually some May Gray and June Gloom, I have always loved throwing on a sweatshirt on and paint on the sea shore. The watercolor painting also has some ink and white gel pen marks but limited amounts, some call it Line and Wash. In the second photo you can see the colors in the light outside. A greenish ocean and some rust colors throughout the sand and rocks, not an all gray day just muted. This beauty was painted on acid free 140 lb. watercolor paper. Painting is sold unframed and not matted, The painting will carefully mailed flat.
