I understand that the height is to make it easier for people in wheelchairs to get onto, so the perimeter of the padded surface is a little banged up from those encounters, but overall it looks pretty good, with no rips that I have noticed. I bought this years ago to entice local pickup of a Preston Sammons parallel bars that I was offering, so of course the guy that bought that insisted on having it shipped, so this was not part of the sale. Along those same lines I will NOT ship this, it is for local pickup ONLY. Please don’t ask, prepping this for freight would be a major undertaking and just not worth it as this price. I was kind of shocked to see what something similar would sell for new, in the $1000 range, so I am not going to be entertaining offers at this point. Come and get it. It is stored in Powells Point, NC 27966, but I reside a block off the beach in Kill Devil Hills so maybe you could get in a swim while you are here when the weather warms up.
