Description: Thomas McKnight's"Lagomar" and "Villa Rosa" SELLER NOTES: I am a Thomas McKnight collector and have participated in his exhibition In SoHo New York City in the 90's. I am the original owner of these two 1989 same numbered original serigraphs. The "Lagomar" and "Villa Rosa" are from his Palm Beach Suite of 8 paintings and are the most sought after in the group. This Roman Numeral numbered edition was especially created for his collectors. "Prior prints of the same image" were "produced by different method". "These images were originally created as casein paintings". "Casein paintings are known for their matte finish vibrant colors and lustrous surface" as beautifully translated in these two exquisite serigraphs. "Lagomar" and "Villa Rosa" are both numbered in pencil LXXXIV / CC and signed in pencil by the artist. They were in my personal in-home gallery and have not been exposed to sunlight and were maintained in a controlled temperature and humidity environment. Included with the serigraphs are the original Hanson Art Galleries COA's, the original "Palm Beach" booklet and Thomas McKnight background printed piece as seen in photos, along with the original bill of sales. The "Palm Beach" booklet explains in detail, McKnight's artistic motivation for these paintings while living in Pam Beach. Both serigraphs are Italian silver-gold wood framed and they are both archival double matted. The framed size is 29" wide by 27" high, the image size is 18" x 16".
