Description: This is a vintage white border postcard, postally used and postmarked 1919 from Salt Lake City. The postcard features the Saltair Pavilion and swimmers outside the pavilion. The Saltair Pavilion Resort was opened in 1893, and was intended to be a western counterpart to Coney Island. The version of the Saltair Pavilion appearing in this postcard burned in 1925.
