Description: This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. Wallace Wood was arguably the finest artist of the 1950's and 1960's, and was particulary known for drawing stunningly beautiful women. Beginning in the Sixties, he provided soft-core illustrations for a variety of non-mainstream publications, including Playboy. By the late Seventies, Wood, suffering from ill health and financial problems, self-published a number of collections of his girly work. They did feature some very attractive naked women... Here I have a copy of Sally Forth #2, published in 1977. It's a large, 9 1/2 x 12 magazine collecting several storylines featuring Wood's long-time humorous character, Sally Forth (NOT to be confused with the family friendly comic strip character currently running in the newspapers!!). Sally was created for a newspaper published for the armed forces, so it's filled with nudity and very silly humor. I will say that the magazine is VERY rare and VERY much sought-after. It's in outstanding condition, (see scans for condition). This would be an terrific addition to any collection! Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases.
