Sadler produced this teapot with a couple of different lids. This one has the blue book and treasure chest lid that is somewhat tougher to find - and it really is special. Finding any flaws in this piece is very hard to do and the casual observer may well say it is perfect. Even Sadler "oopsed" the gold trim on the spout as you may be able to see in the pics. But really, you will be very happy with the condition on this. In preparation for sale, we carefully washed by hand the inside and outside, carefully searching for any defect. We believe this teapot has never been used as the collector had many. There are no stains, chips, or cracks that we can observe. Of course, we could have missed something small so see the pictures and evaluate condition for yourself. This item is sold as is. Pictures are of the actual item being sold.
