Description: Ruger Mark Series 2/3/4 Pistol Racker This is a custom created bolt racker to help assist with pulling the bolt back. Considered ambidextrous, has a tight fit and holds up very well. This design is different as it rotates on the end of the bolt to install, my previous setup would snap on from the top. This will only fit standard Ruger Mark Pistols, the anniversary edition has a bigger bolt end which will not fit this. Some Ruger MK1 pistols have the profile needed for this piece, however about half of the MK1 pistols are squared off and not rounded on the edges. Due to this I am going to state that this is not going to work with stock Ruger MK1 pistols. Please check the last picture as it shows the size of the bolt that works for this item. See the photos to get the idea of how to install. You start with the racker at a 90 degrees to the back of the bolt. From there you want each sides edges to start on the threads of the bolt to the racker. This is a tight fit so that it doesn’t come off easily. What I do typically is get both edges on and slowly apply pressure, you will feel when it starts to give and actually thread on. Once installed it’s good to go. I advise not using a hammer or any device as such for installation, this is designed to spin on the bolt. This purchase will only be for the racker, the pistol/bolt is not included. Pic also included to ensure proper size of bolt as some replacements are not the factory size. The measurement on the last photo is the outer diameter. This is only made in black currently, the yellow one is for instructional purposes.
