Also included are two typed letters to Ken Brown and SIGNED by Avery Brundage and a 5" x 7" candid black & white wedding photography, dated July 26, 1946, possibly of Ken Brown and his bride. Rudy Vallée (1901 - 1986) was an American singer, actor, bandleader, author and entertainer.Vallée became the most prominent, and arguably the first, of a new style of popular singer, the crooner and was one of the first modern pop stars of the teen idol type. Vallee's communications with Brown was of a friendly nature, with the exchange of occasional cards and gifts. In one letter, Rudy invites Ken to a game of tennis, with the comment "I think I can really give a good account of myself in that particular sport."Avery Brundage (1887 - 1975) was the fifth president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), serving from 1952 to 1972.
