Description: This jar is an original RRP Cow Jumped Over The Moon. We have owned this jar for thirty years and only used it for display, not for storing cookies. Please read this and also look at the photos as they are part of the description. The jar is nicely painted in soft colors and accented with gold trim. One of the cow 's ears has a small chip and there is a chip to the side of the ear (towards the front middle of the head). There is another darker, somewhat hard to find chip in the gold trim on the neck. All of these chips are small. The rim of the bottom piece is a little rough with tiny chips. Towards the bottom of the jar there is a crack which extends under the jar. Since the crack is on the side, it is not visible when displayed. There is also a tiny short hairline under the dish's leg, which is hard to see. The jar has very light overall crazing; the most noticeable crazing is a line above the spoon. The crazing is not discolored. There are a few black spots of paint under the glaze that are factory imperfections. The prior owner applied felt pieces on the bottom which we left in place. The marking on the bottom of the jar is very faint due to the heavy glaze, but is marked R.R.P. Co Roseville, Ohio. From a non-smoking and pet-free home.
