Description: The pier on The Hoe built in 1880, was destroyed by enemy bombing, the 1941 Blitz. Its rusting remains were not taken down until 1952, when it was finally decided it was not to be rebuilt. Original, used vintage item. All photos are of the actual postcard. Postcards are sleeved.
