Description: RPPC Early 1900's Red Cross Outpost, Possibly Two Doctors Posing in Front of Early Red Cross Building in this Iconic Real Photo Postcard. The earliest Red Cross was established by Clara Barton in Dansville, New York in the Mid-Late 1800's, around 1863 I CAN NOT DETERMNE THE EXACT LOCATION OF THE Early Red Cross Building in this vintage RPPC, however RPPCs generally began around 1900 and the attire the two men are wearing suggest that this photo is most likely from the early 1900's. There were several Red Cross locations by 1900s, but this one appears to be in a very rural location, which could be New York State or Possibly Tennessee.
