Description: Lot six beautiful high shine pewter goblets from Royal Holland fasc. 7 1/4 tall with generous wide mouth 3 1/2 to outer edges. Stem and base 4 inches of the 7 1/4 height. A very few scratches and pictures show some wear underneath. There is a story with these. My consignor was moving and these were packed to go. When unpacked one had a pretty fair ding so the moving company picked all six up to repair the one. These were matte pewter. Someone at the repair shop decided to give all six a high polish shine. While unexpected by my consignor that shine has remained excellent since the ‘70s. Please don’t polish. They look wonderful.
