Description: These are Vintage Royal Copenhagen Pink Triton Konkylie Bowls No 14173. Designed by Arje Griegst (1938 - 2016) for Royal Copenhagen and were made in Denmark. I purchased these (see photo) in 1978 in Denmark. The Royal Copenhagen Konkylie design was discontinued in the 1990's. The conch frame was available in a white version as well. This pink version is rare. The pink color was created by mixing gold in the glaze. It is believed that the pink frame became too expensive to produce and they were discontinued...thereafter selling only the white version. Six pink bowls (salad, soup....). 8 inches in diameter... 5 of the 6 are perfect and 1 of the 6 has a small chip... see photo
