Description: Royal Bavaria 4 Salts w/3 Cannonball Feet Blue Forget Me Nots w/Gold 1880-1918 A beautiful Set of 4 SALT CELLARS w/3 CANNONBALL FEET, hand Decorated from Bavaria, Germany by ROYAL BAVARIA, SMOOTH Rim with Exquisite, Dainty, Delicate BLUE FOGET ME NOTS having Pink Centers, Inside of Cellar is LUSTER, Circa early 1900's DESCRIPTION: This features hand decorated dainty blue forget me nots in blue with pink centers. There is a blue band on the outside near the rim which is outlined in gold as are the rims and 3 cannonball feet on each one. On the inside of each one is a bright luster. See photos. CONDITION: The condition of this decorative set is superb. We can find no defects or damage. There is no rubbing to the gold or the paint. There are no chips, nicks, cracks, rubbings, scratches or hairlines. Please refer to the photos to see how classically beautiful this is. DIMENSIONS: The beautiful, decorative salts have a diameter of 2" and a height of 3/4". HISTORY/MARKS: The Royal Bavaria mark is unidentified by PM&M (porcelainmarksandmore) but is shown as Image 0707-03b. None of our other sources identify this mark either. We think it was used in the early 1900’s based on style of painting and quality of the porcelain. Please view all pictures carefully as they are part of the description.
