They are unwashed and just a slight rinse of water only to work the rock on the screens. Pictures are all file photos from random sample of 1kg which was sorted out for color vs matrix there was approx 3/4 lb of nice color chips sorted from 2.2 pounds of random scoop. Safe to say 1/2lb to possible 1 lb of chips could be had in one of these bags. It took about 10 minutes to sort these. They look better in person than in the photos here as we do not enhance pictures. The natural hard rock with its distinctive color and texture, is unique. The specimens have not been graded, this is what is considered "unsorted" and this chip lot was not picked over in any way, yours will be freely scooped from bulk of similar material if not exact to the pictures. all of this will remain on top of a 1/4 inch screen Many be solid of some sort, most all are matrix type. The country of origin for this rough turquoise is the United States, adding to its rarity and appeal. It is ideal for collectors and lapidary enthusiasts alike, and its uses extend beyond the scope of jewelry making, inlay and mosaic. These specimens are a great conversation piece and a valuable addition to any collection. This rock is great to practice skills on in shaping and polish before moving on to high dollar gem grade material. A lot of this with care can make fair grade +/- (tourist) grade (some is of high gem grade as never picked over) very small earing cabs keeping down your cost and customer cost while providing them with unique pattern matrix and tourquoise goods. What this ORE is : It is certified from our mine, Blue Silver 2, Tonopah NV and certificate comes with each shipment. It is from our personal mines we have mined for over 12 years and sold here on EBAY for that time. It is mostly Tonopah green and some is mixed color (polychrome) blue green black It is 100% natural hard rock in matrix (jack hammered out , not free nuggets) It has no grade attachted to it, (good, high, gem etc.) Reason is it has never been sorted and graded. It has been seperated during our cleaning grading processing of our ore due to its size. It has nice colors and small lighting type strike veins in it It and the matrix take a good polish 400g-600g-1200g-ZAM buff It is unique patterned With care it can be dopped on match stick end and great earings made of it, just glue on a post. It keeps a shine , wet look , for display easy with simi-gloss clear spray or a ZAM buff Pictures were taken with simple I phone, indoors no lighting tricks, and we do not use ANY photo enhancements. The first 5 pictures are water only wet, the next 5 pics are stone dry and last pic is water wet. The coins are the scale of the ore, ( quarter, dime).
