Description: FREE Shipping. RR472 design/shape, 3-5/8" closed, brand new from old stock, thus "Rider" instead of "Ryder". Probably not DISCONTINUED but becoming hard to find. Distinctive Canoe design/shape. The Canoe is one of the popular shapes for pocketknives, because it really does resemble the shape of a canoe, and the rounded corners are pocket friendly. I've heard the bigger Canoes called "Butterbeans", but that's actually incorrect; "Butterbeans" or "Elephant Toes", while flat and round, are different than Canoes. Did you see "No Country for Old Men (2007)"? What knife did Josh Brolin use when he cut the window blind cords? Yup, a Canoe! Unusual Sawcut Bone handles. The pattern & feel do indeed very much resemble the roughness left by a circular saw blade. The bigger FLUTED nickel silver bolsters on this Canoe are eye-catching. Can we talk? About fluted Bolsters? Pretty sure my customer base thinks they're tacky, maybe a cheaply made knife? Think again. They look sharp, wear perfectly well, and set about any knife model apart, especially when matched with these Sawcut Scales. We may talk again in the future. Never used, never sharpened, never carried. Match strike pulls. Original box included. Pictures ARE REPRESENTATIVE of the actual knife the buyer will receive, and if not, it will be clearly pointed out where and how, or refunded. Blades are very tight & close with a distinctive snap, yet nestle squarely in their grooves. They are extremely sharp right out of the box. Rough Rider quality rivals Case at a fraction of the price.
