Description: Robert Rossman Company, New York, NY 1908-1927 When Mr. Rossman passed away in 1911, his company was taken over by Beaver Falls Art Tile Co. Then in 1927 they incorporated as Robert Rossman Inc combining Beaver Falls, Rossman, Old Bridge and Perth Amboy. They closed in 1930 due to the depression. A fleur de lis is depicted on this vintage Rossman tile. Raised lines separate the matte glaze colors. It measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 1/2" thick. Great condition; signed, never set.
