Description: This antique celery dish was made in Germany by Rosenthal c. 1927 made for The Lehigh Valley Railroad Company furnished by L. Barth and Company of New York, Asa Packer pattern. In very nice barely used condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. We purchased a large amount of this china at least fifteen years ago at auction, near Scranton PA and have just a few pieces left, however this is the only Rosenthal I have. The LV railroad went out of business in 1976 and these pieces were wrapped in newspaper from 1980. If I remember correctly all of these pieces were stored in the basement of a school.
