Description: ROPE THE WIND by NORMAN A. FOX. Published by Dodd, Mead & Company, New York, 1958. First Edition. 211 page Western by one of the early masters of the Western Novel. This copy has a nice inscription on the FFEP that is dated December, 1958, & is signed by the author. VG+/VG. Tight and clean interior. Edges of text block are a little darkened & pages have just a little age toning. Top and bottom edges of cover have light shelf wear. Jacket has minor edge wear, but there is some wear with small chips missing at spine ends & corner tips. There is about 1/2" next to the top of the front flap fold that has about 1/16" of the edge gone. The front cover & spine illustration is still clean & bright. There is a little darkening & minor soiling to the white areas on the jacket. Jacket is now enclosed in an archival protector. Book will be shipped in a box with all edges protected.
