Rome, first published in 1872, captured the rich history of the city not only through his vivid writing, but also numerous images. This 1897 edition, gorgeously decorated, includes a large fold-out map as well, shown in the final two images. Despite its age, it's in remarkably good shape with only a few minimal issues noted in the Condition Description. It would make a wonderful addition to a vintage book collection, particularly one focused on the Roman Empire.The book will be shipped in a hard fold-over box for protection, not a bubble mailer. Note that only the actual USPS Media Mail shipping charge is being applied based on the weight.
