Item Woman's folk costume skirt from Oas, Romania Dimensions Measurements taken with article laying flat Waist: 26"-30" around adjustable by waist ties Length: 31" Condition Good Condition - a few faint stains; fraying at bottom of front opening; couple small blue marks on the front near the bottom, but these would be covered by an apron when worn Description This listing is for a beautiful antique woman's folk costume skirt from the Oas region of northern Romania. It is made of heavy white cloth and beautifully embroidered around the waistband and along the bottom edge. Features charming motifs featuring flowers and birds. The front of the skirt is open and less decorated as it would traditionally be covered by an apron and therefore not visible. A great piece of authentic folk dress from Romania.
