Description: Featured is a rare College Humor magazine cover illustration by Rolf Armstrong. Rolf Armstrong (1889-1960) was one of America's finest creators of pin-up art. During the 1920s and 30s, Armstrong made his income illustrating sheet music covers and magazines. In 1960 the New York Times described him as "the creator of the calendar girl." College Humor was an American humor magazine published between 1920-1943. This June (year unknown) cover is approximately 8.5" x 11.25" in overall size and is in fair condition. There is paper loss in the upper right corner, a small hole through the cover model's cheek, and wear on the edges. Please use the included photos as a condition guide.
