They are new and tested before shipped so I know they are working when they leave or location. These will not work with a reg 4 watt only CB radio you need 25-35 watts peak for the amp to work. Or 25 watts CW THIS IS AM/CW UNIT ONLY IF YOU WANT ONE WITH SSB CONTACT ROCKETBOX ELECTRONICS. Also do not use a Power max power supply on these units
