Description: Polly by Lynne and Michael Roche has the sweetest hand painted face with a little girl hint of a smile. She has blue glass eyes and a blonde long human hair wig with two ribbon tied small braids by her face. . Her head is porcelain as are her forearms and her body is stuffed cotton cloth. . She is a cuddly girl and nice to pose. She was made in 1992 and is number 42. Polly can sit or be posed in a stand. She comes to you wearing a lovely hand knit pink jumper and white sweater both trimmed in a scalloped edging and pink and white leg warmers and hand knit shoes and stockings to match. She wears white cotton underwear under her jumper. She has her original tag with her number 42 and is signed by the Roches. Polly will also come with a beautiful hand made trunk signed Polly at the Seaside by Lynne and Michael Roche number 49. The trunk has some special accessories including two outfits,a wood pail and shovel, a knit and wood sand sifter, wood sailboat and a tiny handmade sailor doll. There is also a straw beach hat. Polly will also come with an exquisite hand crochet outfit that was ordered just for her. There is a dress, pinafore hat and shoes. It is stunning! Not all items in the set are Roche but many are and everything is extremely well made and in excellent condition and the set would be a very special addition to any doll collection. It is time for many of my treasures to find new homes and I hope a collector of very special dolls will chose sweet Polly. . She will be wrapped and packed with great care to travel to her new home.
