It's a 16-channel analog-to-digital converter, a 10-channel digital-to-analog converter, and a device that provides a panoply of analog and digital connections. Analog connections are possible over balanced 1/4" connections or DB25 ports. MADI is made possible over BNC or optional SFP port. You'll note four ports for ADAT, as well as Ethernet ports for AVB streaming. All of this means you can secure up to 272 total inputs and 298 total outputs. When networking audio over ABV, you can secure up to eight streams with a latency as low as 0.3 ms. Steady FS clocking ensures your audio will be as free from jitter as possible, which means it will sound clear and transparent. Routing is an easy affair thanks to the internal routing matrix, accessible via front-panel controls or over remote control via web interface. This unit also offers dual internal power supplies over two IEC inlets.
