Description: RIVERHORSE BREWING HOP HAZARD PALE ALE draft beer tap handle. Originally in Lambertville, New Jersey. First introduced in 1996. Taken over in 2007 by a couple of financial advisors looking for another new challenge. Later in 2013 they packed up and moved to their current location in Ewing. They remain one of New Jerseys largest Independent Craft breweries. A Riverhorse is a term given to the African Hippopotamus. Some weighing as much as 8,000 pounds! Hippo Hop Hazard Pale Ale. 6.5%ABV. Pours orange with floral hop notes. Retired long ago. This fine piece has original Lambertville stickers making it around 20 years old. Used for a brief time and retired to a private collection. Tap is listed as used. It remains in excellent condition and shows almost no wear at all. I don't see any signs of damage. He could have used a better orthodontist but no broken teeth. Looks amazing! Maybe just a visit to the dentist. An enormous hippo emerges from the deep creating a white capped splash around him. He opens his huge mouth to reveal his sharp tusks and horrible bad breath. Taking in a breath of air and waiting to get his teeth picked clean by the local birds. A real fine collectors piece, not often seen looing this good. Big and bold appearance. rare. Stands 12-1/2 inches tall. Thanks for looking and reading this far.
