Description: Rivarossi Truck Pins Replacement SCREWS Miscellaneous Railroad Company # S6TP05S Replacement for Rivarossi, AHM & IHC & Con-Cor TRUCK PINS (Also suitable to replace Con-Cor Truck Pins) The screws are 18-8 Stainless Steel to minimize corrosion and magnetism. The screws are ”Truss Head” which has a lower profile than round-headed screws. These are not self-tapping screws. Recommend start tapping the car bolster boss #6-32 to insure that the screw goes in straight. You will notice that it is not necessary to drill the boss with a #36 drill bit before tapping. The Rivarossi chassis is plastic so do no tap the boss more than 40 - 50% so the screw goes in straight. Then install the truck with the S6TP05S screw to hold it on. Adjust the tightness to allow for free movement of the truck and a little bit of floppiness. There has to be some floppiness in the truck or the car will de-rail. Also listed is are the MISC S6TP04S screws which are 1/16th inch shorter and have the same profile. Please leave 5 Star feedback.
