RIE MUNOZ ARTIST PROOF 6/50 GREENHOUSE 1986 LITHOGRAPH HAND SIGNED LTD EDITION

Description: Up for your consideration is this early (1986) Rie Munoz artist proof lithograph titled Greenhouse. It is hand signed with signature, title (Greenhouse), and number AP 6/50. It is sealed with a backboard. The backboard has bumped corners, but has protected the print completely. It has never been framed or displayed. Print measurements are 16.5” wide x 12.75” tall. Graphic measurements are 13 1/8” wide x 9.25” tall. The information card will be included. Rie was a Dutch American artist who lived in many small Alaskan communities since 1951. She passed away April 6, 2015. I purchased this piece and others from the estate of one of Rie’s relatives, in Alabama, which had many many posters and lithographs including artist proofs. FYI: If the artist is creating an edition for a dealer, the artist is able to keep a few prints for personal use from the edition. These are part of the edition and are kept to the same standard but are labeled A/P for Artist Proof. An artist is restricted on the number of artworks which can be made into limited editions each year. The photographs included in this listing are an integral part of this description.
