Description: This is double matted and framed lithograph poster from the 1988 Oregon Art Tour. Poster has been cut down, parts removed are on the back of the frame. Image on the poster was from an original watercolor painting by Rie Munoz called "Annual Audubon Bird Count". Poster is not signed although it has the signature from the original art in the lower corner. Print is 17 1/2 inches X 22 inches and the frame is 22 inches X 25 inches. Frame is in very good condition but has a small amount of wear, mainly in top left corner. See the last picture as I tried to show all wear. Pictures are a part of the description (I took in two different lighting) and are of the item that will be shipped. Rie Munoz (re moo nyos), 1921 - 2015, a Dutch-American, was born and raised in California. She lived in Alaska since 1951, when she traveled up the Inside Passage by steamship, fell in love with Juneau, and gave herself until the boat left the next day to find a job and a place to live. Until she died Juneau was home to Munoz. Munoz studied art at Washington and Lee University in Virginia, and at the University of Alaska-Juneau. Rie received the University of Alaska's Honorary Doctorate of Humanities Degree in May of 1999 and was awarded the Distinguished Artist Award in 2007. Her reproductions and original prints are carried by galleries throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as in Norway, Japan, England, and Holland.
