Description: Ridgway 629 Hand Colored Floral Blue Transferware Tea Bowl & Saucer C. 1838-45 E Nice pearlware tea bowl and saucer. Decorated with a blue floral transferware pattern with hand colored highlights in orange, yellow, and green. The tea bowl is marked with the pattern number 629. The saucer is marked W.R.S & Co in blue with the number 629 in red. This mark was used by William Ridgway Son & Co between 1838 and 1845. Has crazing typical of pearlware, usage wear to the saucer, and overall staining of the type that may soak out, but no chips or cracks. The tea bowl measures approximately 4 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. GSBX
