Description: Richard M. Nixon Walter H. Judd Political Campaign Flyer 1961 Inauguration Ticket + more"That's the Ticket!" Political Campaign Handout & 2 Nixon Bumper StickersA rare find, this political handout promotes the nomination of Richard M. Nixon to be the Republican candidate for the office of President of the United States, and the U.S. Representative from Minnesota, Walter Henry Judd as his Vice Presidential running mate. In 1960 Walter H. Judd was a candidate for nomination as Vice President during the first vice presidential candidacy of Richard M. Nixon. In a bid for Eastern support, however, Nixon chose as his running mate Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr. In that same year Judd was the keynote speaker at the Republican National Convention in Chicago. The political flyer is made of a medium weight paper stock. Both Nixon and Judd's photographs are printed like the old newspapers were, with a dot screen pattern. There is a line art image of an American eagle holding a banner in his beak that reads "E Pluribus Unum" at the top of the flyer. The red and blue ink in the slogan lettering is a bit off register, and at first glance it almost appears to be hand colored. The flier is printed on one side only, with the following: Front Row / Center Inauguration January 20, 1961 Richard M. Nixon - President Walter H. Judd - Vice President That's The Ticket!
