Even parts that are not visible from the outside, such as joints and the back of parts, are sculpted with detail. Obvious attachment holes have been eliminated, resulting in a seamless design that integrates with the overall look. The complexly colored head is thoroughly reproduced using color-coded plastic. Details such as the twin eyes, main camera, magazine drum, and cheek ducts have been added. Panel lines reflect the underlying mechanics, and are divided into functional blocks. They are designed to mimic actual division lines. The exterior design combines a new interpretation with a return to the origins. In addition to adding fine details, careful attention has been paid to the basic shapes of each part, such as edges and curved surfaces. The body's white color is composed of two-tone plastic, creating a sense of depth and dimension. The Core Fighter can transform into a core block. In addition to reproducing the proportions of the aircraft form, a newly developed auxiliary joint mechanism is built into the compact core block, allowing for free posing of the Gundam. As an original RG gimmick, the chest armor that covers the cockpit can be opened and closed vertically.
