This Capillary Flow Restrictor is a small piece of plastic that is to be inserted into a 1/4 inch tubing and it is usually inserted into the tubing where the tubing is attached to the drain fitting on the membrane housing. A flow restrictor will create back pressure on the membrane and allow the membrane to produce purified water to be delivered to the storage tank.
