Description: Here for the American Girl Doll collector is RETIRED and RARE American Girl Doll Molly, made in West Germany for Pleasant Company--in very good gently cared for condition. She has the RARE WHITE CLOTH BODY of the earliest Molly dolls. She comes in her original burgundy box and brochure. Box is in good condition with some normal shelf wear. The large lettering "Pleasant Company" and the copyright sign are stamped on the back of her neck. Long white neck strings are intact. She has the white muslin body of the earliest Molly dolls. Limbs are actually squeezable; she holds a pose and stands independently. Long soft brown hair is in very good condition and styled in braids with her original red ribbons in place. Long soft sweeping brown eyelashes frame gorgeous blue gray eyes (no silvering). She comes wearing her complete meet outfit: navy wool skirt with paper tag that reads "made in West Germany 1986,", white dickey and argyle sweater, white panties and white socks and black Mary Jane shoes. The socks and panties have some discoloration from age, and the panties have lost some elasticity due to aging. She also comes with her original wire rimed eyeglasses and red felt carrying case and her meet accessories, tagged Pleasant Company 1990. A beautiful Molly! From my smoke-free home.
