Description: Here for the American Girl Doll collector is a gorgeous and near-mint Pre-Mattel American Girl Doll Samantha by Pleasant Company with the 1986 West Germany dress tag. She has all the wonderful features of an early Pleasant Company Samantha! Her hair is in the original style with original curls cascading down her back. The lettering Pleasant Company and the copyright sign are stamped on the back of her neck and the artist mark is visible behind her ear. White neck strings are intact. Tan cloth body is the earlier chubby version and is clean. She has no marks or stains that I can see. Limbs are tight; she stands and holds a pose easily. In addition to her original meet outfit, she arrives with several beautiful new non-AG outfits. Also included is a Pleasant Company white nightgown (some elasticity lost in the sleeves of the nightgown and her underpants due to aging but otherwise in good condition).
