Description: Gorgeous Antique Wall Sconces Beautiful condition! These are original fixtures from the early 1900's. They have been rewired, new sockets added, the brass has been cleaned and buffed while keeping a more matte patina instead of a mirror-shiny finish, and they're working well and ready to hang. Made of solid brass. No chips in the brass - just some normal teeny, tiny hairline cracks in the cups under the candle sockets, which aren't noticed unless inspecting closely, and are normal for antique brass (see closeup). The drip candle socket covers and clip-on shades are newer additions in the antique style. The shades may have a tiny crease or mark here or there, but this only adds to the antique style. Each fixture uses 2 chandelier-base light bulbs up to 40 watts, or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like. The light bulbs are not included. Here are details about the restorer: The late Bob Daly was a marathon runner and worked in his family's burglar alarm business until he started his own antique lighting restoration business in Fenton, Michigan in the 1980's: "Historic Lighting Restoration Services and Sales". He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob to the tiniest detail. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, buffing and polishing, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation (see a newspaper article picture of him in photo #24). He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art.
