Description: Listing for one antique restored Yale short body mortise deadbolt lock #290 in excellent condition. This is a nighttime, security type deadbolt mortise lock. There is no opening for a knob. It is designed the locked/open positions only. The case has been stripped down to bare metal and repainted and all interior parts have been clean and checked. Cast iron body with heavy cast bronze faceplate. Faceplate is perfectly straight, with considering the age, is in excellent condition, refer to pictures. Again, all interior parts have been cleaned and polished. All interior parts and springs are in good operating condition. All my mortise locks are reconditioned and fully functioning. Keys are not included unless specifically noted in the listing as well as the pictures. The best description are the pictures posted. Use them to verify condition and dimensions.
