Please carefully read my description and check out the photos BEFORE asking questions, making offers or purchasing item. This is a mid 1960's Reslo Celeste ribbon microphone made in England. The mic itself is new old stock. (I was a dealer for these long ago and this is my last one.) The cable was misplaced so I recently bought a good used one. Reslo's use an uncommon mount for the cable end so one has to use an original Reslo cable. The mount has a male thread as do all the stands I'm familiar with, so you'll need a female sleeve to adapt the mic to a modern stand. I've included one of plastic that I fashioned from a mic clip for the photo but it won't last long so you'll want to locate and purchase metal one. The box is original to the mic but in only fair condition and the original literature is included. Tjis is the RBH version so it's balanced output 30-50 ohms, NOT 600 ohms. If you try to use it without a matching transformer on a board with 600 ohm inputs, the level will be very low. So, you'll want a 30-50ohm to 600 ohm mic transformer if you don't have lower impedance input. These mics sound fabulous and you can see in the last photo a view of the early Beatles performing live in front of one! The thing that I used to hold it up for photo is part of a Shure mic and NOT included in the sale. Please don't bother me with low ball offers - We both know how rare and wonderful these are! Pickup:Item may be picked up at Interface, 660 Main Street, Keene, NH 03431 except in auctions of items so large or heavy that they are retained by the owner. In those cases, payment is made to me but pickup is from location of item. Location and instructions for getting there will be furnished to winner. If you Pick the item up NO shipping charges or sales tax will be due. Options: I prefer to ship lightweight items by mail and heavier items by UPS ground for lowest cost but will entertain requests to ship by other methods if buyer is willing to pay the additional cost. UPS requires a street address and will NOT deliver to a PO box so buyers lacking a street address may have to pay additional cost for delivery by mail. (and insurance, if desired) International shipments are handled through eBay Global Shipping program. I ship the item to eBay in Kentucky and they handle the actual export shipping of the item. Packing I pack professionally using sturdy cartons, padded envelopes, and ample quantities of foam peanuts and/or bubble wrap to insure that items I ship arrive undamaged and so have VERY few items damaged in shipping. I double box high value items to conceal the contents from prying eyes. When practical, I re-use packing materials in an effort to minimize environmental impact and keep material cost down. Postal insurance is expensive so I don't insure low value items (under $60) shipped by USPS but UPS provides free insurance for the first hundred dollars value so all items handled by UPS are insured.
