Description: This is a collection of 3 REPLICA coins made using a mold from 3 HIGH GRADE actual Atocha coins. All 3 coins were made from an ACTUAL silver ingot (bar number: S85-S180) which was the 180th silver bar recovered from the year of the mother lode, 1985. The Atocha is the single most famous treasure gallion that wrecked with over (a rough estimate) 1 BILLION dollars worth of gold, silver, coins, precious gems, gold chains, and other fine treasures. The ship wrecked off the coast of the (now days) Florida Keys in 1622 and laid undisturbed until Mel Fisher and his crew discovered the wreck in 1985. The coins in this collection are cast from two "Grade 1" coins and one "Grade 2" coin. Grade 1 and 2 are the highest rated coins found. This collection comes with a COA from Historic Replicas: A Division of HIstoric Shipwreck, Inc. This was a limited edition set and is number 457 in the collection. These coins have never been removed from their protective case, and are incredibly valueable (and will only continue to rise in value each year) historic pieces. The collections includes ONE Grade 1, 1618 reprodution 8 reale (otherwise known as 'a piece of 8') ONE Grade 1, 1622 4 Reale, and ONE Grade 2.
